Poets Tavern & Inn 

It was built as a place to house the horses that once served the castle. Then, it was a guesthouse. A place for weary travelers to rest their heads for a night. It became a clothing factory, at one point. A ballroom for local celebrations at another. It was once a garage to store cars. Then, for a while, it was nothing. 

Life was returned to the ancestral walls when it became the Passadico do Avô - a restaurant serving Portuguese cuisine and a boutique inn that closed in the mid-2010s. For a long time, it remained closed. In 2024, it was once again revived to serve as a casual eatery and a boutique inn to house visitors to this beautiful area.
